Frozen Whole Cheese Focaccia
The first mention of the cheese focaccia in Liguria dates back to the XII century and are linked to the Crusades.
It is also narrated of Saracen raids on the coasts of Liguria and the habits to prepare a simple and nutritious dish on the mountain where the inhabitants of the coast sheltered.
The cheese focaccia is made of two thin layers of pasta stuffed with fresh creamy cheese.
